Volunteer with beautiful gate

We welcome volunteers for various needs in our organisation, including:  

• Teaching - assist in teaching Science, English or Maths etc
  
• Children’s activities - a few hours a week coaching sports, organising games or running arts activities
  
• Maintenance - we sometimes need extra hands to help maintain the surroundings  
  
• Outreach - Go out in the community to work with people living with HIV/AIDS or play games with street kids
  
• Admin Support - Data capture, fundraising, desktop research and other office work

Quick list:  what do I need to have in order to volunteer?

Most importantly, we need people who WANT to help. A willing heart is the best gift you can bring us as well as able hands! 

If you will be working directly with the children (i.e. teaching in school and mentoring the street kids) then by law we need you to have the following: 

1.   A Police Clearance Certificate (any police station can assist you). This is in line with the Children's Act and serves to protect our children. 

2. A character reference from someone you work with or have worked for, with their contact details on it. 

3. Proof of qualification (e.g. teaching)
